Contour Backmax Support System Jan 03, 2007
By J. Cadden This works very well for my back problems. Just slightly too firm for my back, but I put a pillow behind me. The zippers allow this to be attached all together as one piece or for the 3 pieces to be used separately. Zipping them together prevents the pieces sliding and leaving you in a "hole" in the middle.

Contour Back Max Body Support System Dec 02, 2007
By Ann Lytle THIS IS THE VERY BEST. I PURCHASED 2 OF THESE IN 2006. I SLEEP ON THIS CONTOUR BODY SUPPORT EVERY NIGHT. FOR YEARS I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING IN A RECLINER CHAIR BECAUSE I HAVE TROUBLE SLEEPING IN ANY BED. FOR SOME REASON I CAN NOT SLEEP IN A BED WITHOUT BACK PAIN. WHEN WE WOULD GO ON VACATION AND STAY IN A MOTEL, I WOULD SLEEP IN THE CHAIR BECAUSE I COULD NOT SLEEP IN THE BED. I BOUGHT 2 OF THESE. ONE STAYS AT HOME AND ONE STAYS IN TEXAS AT THE FRIEND'S HOUSE THAT WE VISIT WITH TWICE A YEAR. RECENTLY I WENT ON A OVERNIGHT TRIP TO NASHVILLE AND I TOOK MY CONTOUR BODY SUPPORT SO I WOULD GET SOME SLEEP AT THE MOTEL. LIKE I SAID THIS IS THE VERY BEST. IF IT WERE NOT FOR THIS PRODUCT I WOULD BE IN THE RECLINER FOR EVER. IF YOU HAVE BACK PROBLEMS, BUY THIS. HOPE THIS IS OF HELP. ANN IN TENNESSEE

Perfect!! Sep 13, 2007
By Adam Hechler I had back surgery in Dec. 2006 and needed something (and still do) to allow me to sleep in the bed. This is perfect. I've even brought it with me on vacation (it doesn't pack very well though for airline travel ;) I can now sleep through the night, in bed with my wife, with relatively no pain. I only need to find a very thin pillow for me head because a regular pillow causes me some neck discomfort due to lifting my head too much and the BackMax is a little too firm to use no pillow. But that's nothing compared to the relief I've gotten from this product. I highly recommend it for anyone with back issues.

MISLEADING INFORMATION Oct 05, 2009
By T. A. Fernandez Garcia I Guess this product would work good for veru short people, notice how there is never information about the size of this product, I am not a large man, I am 5 feet 8, weight 175 pounds and this is a very unconfortable product for some one my size, they are misleading in the information they disclose, they should be very clear about who would fit into it... I feel robed of my 129 dollars... ROBED!!!

Comfortable, but not everything I had hoped Jan 30, 2006

Overall, we like our Backmaxes and there doesn't seem to be much out there like it. However, be prepared for the fact that you'll probably still need some extra pillows to really customize it and you may really feel the absence of arm supports. I'd suggest to the company that they'd have a much better product if they included a little flip-pillow for the full-recline positions and some arm supports.
