 Amazing gift for cpap mask users Feb 13, 2011

If you have sleep apnea as I then you have the nightly joy of using the cpap machine. Mine is a godsend and I have been using it for over a year now. I had to make many adjustments. I am a back, side all over sleeper and I use a full face mask. I had to buy special pillows etc. and now the cpap machine makes sleeping heaven. The cleaning and upkeep of the machine and all its part is a must. Of course I deep clean, soak and wash the parts including the water tank and hose weekly. The mask itself and most importantly the cushion that rests on my face are the biggest issue. I have very oily skin and clean the mask daily. For the longest time I used citrus wipes that cleaned and deodorized the mask and cushion daily. They clean great but for some reason over time started to really irritate my skin. Deodorizing the mask etc. is only necessary on a weekly basis so I researched and discovered these Contour wipes. They are truly amazing. They are 100% cotton and oh so gentle. They are made of all natural ingedients and it takes only about two wipes with them to quickly clean the mask and cushions. They clean perfectly and most importantly do not irritate my skin. They don't deodorize which is still necessary so I use these wipes six days of the week and the deodorizing wipes one day.
I think as cpap users it is very important that we share the good and bad on all products out there. There are so many and some do not come cheap. I can tell you these will become a daily necessity and in a mere few minutes you will be able to get your mask/cushions fully clean and comfortable.

Lets face it, in this day and age of technology we want everything right now. Well Contour CPAP Mask Wipes let you have it right now. Before using the wipes I used to soak my mask every night for 30 minutes in warm water with a baby shampoo and then scrub it clean with a soft cloth in the water, and then air dry. Well with the Contour wipes I am able to get the same clean with none of the effort. It takes maybe 1 or 2 wipes to clean and I am ready to sleep in less then 1 minute. It's bad enough to have sleep apnea but with the whole process of washing your face, cleaning the mask, filling the humidifier with water, it's nice to know I can clean my mask super fast and just be done with it. I also find using Clearasil wipes for my face has also sped up the process in my nightly routine. I am able to get 7-9 hours of solid contact with the mask to face depending on how much I sweat at night. I highly recommend using the Contour Wipes! It doesn't get you out of the weekly soaking of the hose, mask, water container and filter, but it does help on a daily basis of keeping the mask clean. On a side note, the cleanser they use in the wipes does not break down your masks soft rubber, it just cleans it.

I happened to order these just before they increased my cpap pressure, and they're an absolute life saver.
They clean the plastics quickly and easily, with no residue or smell. It's like having new plastics every night.

These wipes do a nice job of cleaning the nasal pillows for the cpap mask. They leave it smelling fresh and clean.

I have used a CPAP machine for three years. I really like to keep it clean. These wipes make cleaning the mask so easy. I usually buy several at a time because I hate running out.
