3Caution: the full/queen works only if your mattress sleeps just one person  Jan 09, 2008
By An Amazon Fan
I got this for my queen mattress. It works very well if I sleep at the center - the Mattress Remedy gives nice support under the waist. However, when I sleep at one side of the bed it does not feel good at all! It seems if someone sleeps at the side then the air in the Mattress Remedy is forced towards the center part, so the center of the bed forms a "bump" which makes people who sleep on each side very uncomfortable.

I would definitely recommend this if you sleep alone. Unfortunately I guess many couples share a Queen size mattress, in that case I wouldn't recommend this. I found that the King size Mattress Remedy has a different design, with two separate air-bags placed side by side - that makes much more sense for a two-people bed.

4Not bad for a short term remedy  Sep 04, 2006
By A. Bosinske
The Contour Mattress Remedy is best considered for a short-mid term solution for your sagging mattress. Setup is relatively easy: place in the center of the boxspring, replace the mattress and inflate using the supplied hand pump (takes longer to inflate than one would think).
The CMR does not require full inflation to be effective. In fact, if you put just a bit too much air in, you feel as though you are going to roll off the bed!
Overall, we are satisfied with this product. It beats having to shell out several hundred dollars for a new mattress right now.

4It actually works!  Mar 27, 2009
By Elena E. Renteria "the best customer service ever!"
I ordered this product based on it's customer reviews. The product really works and I felt the results the very next morning...no more back pain! The only thing that I don't like (and that I had read about before I bought it) is that it deflates after time. Because I'm heavier, it deflates like every 3 days. However, I like the fact that all I have to do is pull out the valve that I neatly tuck between my mattress and boxspring and pump it to my desired firmness. Also, yes, it does have the "balloonish feel effect". Pump it up too much and you'll roll off the bed! Overall I give it a good 4+.

4This works  Jan 10, 2007
By G. Bjarnason
I was skeptical about this product but tried it anyway. It does work and it does eliminate the dip in the middle our mattress had formed. This has given our mattress a little more life so it will last a little longer until it's time to give in and buy a new one.

4Wow - it really does work!  Oct 01, 2007
By R. Russell
I was rather skeptical about this type of product helping a sinking mattress - but decided to give it a shot. We have a king foam mattress that has sagged, leaving a body impression. I only really needed a double size, because my wife is fine with her sags - fits her contours okay. The only one available was full/queen.

The unit is quite large for my requirement, so I merely folded a couple of the lobes in so it gives better coverage under the sag. Out of the box, the valve was not letting air through (that is why it lost a star in the rating), so I removed it. I used a powered air mattress inflater to pump it up.

Inflating the bag is quick, in that it really does not require much air. I chose to inflate it first, then scoot it under the mattress. I laid on it and released air until it felt just right. Last night I slept very well again. It really did feel like it was new again!

Now, I don't know what ongoing issues the remedy will have. It is putting upward force on the mattress creating its own "sag." I personally don't care. If I need to, I'll just keep adding air pressure to recover the feel.

I am delighted and will recommend the fix to my extended family that has been moaning about mattress sag. Can't comment on how well it works on spring-type mattresses, though.
