SPONGE CAKE Oct 07, 2007
By G. Blansett I gave the product one-star because it was worthless for me. I have a slipped disk in my lower back. I needed a product that would provide some relief while I ate, while I used my computer, and when I drove. I also weigh 195 pounds at 6 feet tall. This product provided me no relief whatsoever. Although it had the traditional wedge shape and an adequate cover, the foam inside the cover was like sponge cake. It immediately sank under my weight and compressed completely. At least it rebounded nicely when I stood up. This cushion might be of some comfort if the buyer was 120 pounds or less in weight, but not for guys like me. Wouldn"t it be nice if sellers were required to do tests with real people and provide compression figures at different weights?

It's better than nothing Mar 04, 2008

Here's the deal folks. It's not a cure all, it's only a pad for your rear end. It helps and I would rather use it than not use it but it won't change your life. It may however ease the pain for short term use. It has for me and I am glad that I bought it. Is it perfect? No. Does it help a bit? Yes.

Sloping Seat Mate Coccyx Cushion Jan 24, 2008
By MSU gal So far this product is just what I was looking for and was at a good price comparatively. It stays in-place in my office chair, and I have significantly less pain at the end of a 9-hour day since it takes most of the pressure off of my injured tailbone.

Complete waste of money Sep 23, 2009
By Jacqueline A. Zuber This cushion is a complete waste of money. The foam has no density, so as soon as you sit on it, it compresses completely. I weigh 135# and it doesn't hold me at all. It is also very small so it doesn't cover the seat of a standard office chair or car seat. I have used this type of cushion in the past with success. This particular brand is cheap and won't do the job. You definitely get what you pay for so spend a little more, get a more dense foam and a larger cushion.

Coccyx Cushion Jul 17, 2007
By R. A. Epps The chusion is better than nothing, but would perform much better if it were firmer. Unfortunately, the cushion tends to compress therefore limiting the amount of support it provides. I would recommend that you look for a firmer cushion if you have a tailbone injury like me.
